Dancing in the Streets
to Celebrate the First Anniversary of
Marriage Equality in Minnesota
 
 
WHAT:         Participatory public dance Don’t You Feel it Too? celebrates marriage equality
WHEN:         August 1, 2014, 5:30 – 7 p.m.
WHERE:      Meet in lower level of Peavey Plaza, 12th St. and Nicollet Ave. S.
WHO:            FREE and open to the public
HOW:            Bring headphones and an MP3 player with your favorite songs. Wear safe, comfortable shoes and leave everything else behind. Instructions and group warm-up begin at 5:30 p.m. in Peavey Plaza. Dancing on the Mall follows, with a cool-down and discussion closing the practice. Rain or shine.
 
In addition to the special August 1 session, DYFIT? meets at Peavey Plaza on the following Fridays at 5:30 p.m.: July 25; Aug 1, 8 and 22; Sept 5 and 19; and Thursdays Aug 7 and 14 at 4:30 p.m. People seeking to get more exercise, make personal discoveries, relieve stress, protest boredom, or experience guerrilla art—all may find a place in Don’t You Feel It Too?
